“Walk for Water” on World Water Day March 22

The Water Resources Education Center invites residents to participate in a “Walk for Water” on World Water Day, Wednesday, March 22. The public is invited to walk any time from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, at the center, 4600 SE Columbia Way. People of all ages, especially families, are encouraged to walk for water and get first-hand experience regarding water’s vital impact on daily lives in the community and around the world. Participants will walk along a family-friendly pathway to the Columbia River where they will get water and carry it back to the Water Center. The paved path is stroller and wheelchair accessible.
