Columbia Credit Union recently hired Armand Stevens as AVP branch manager of its downtown branch. With seven years of financial industry experience, Stevens will have responsibility for ensuring the branch’s production, sales, and growth success; compliance with regulations and policies; and staff management and development. Stevens replaces Sandy Hammond, who is taking her 20+ years of experience to Columbia’s Fourth Plain branch.

Stevens most recently served as a branch manager for a local financial services institution, overseeing one full‐service branch as well as an on‐campus branch. He has completed various credit union management courses and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in speech communication. Active in the community, Stevens anticipates becoming a member of the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce and hopes to continue serving on the Financial Customer Services program board for the Clark County Skills Center. He moved from Colorado in 2004 and currently lives in Battle Ground. He enjoys supporting Credit Unions for Kids, Relay For Life, and Race for the Cure events in his free time.
