Shorty’s Garden and Home will host the 11th annual Oktoberfest celebration on Friday, Sept. 19, from 5 to 11 p.m. at its Vancouver location, 10006 SE Mill Plain Blvd, Vancouver. Proceeds from this fundraising event will benefit the Fort Vancouver Regional Library (FVRL) Foundation, which supports the programs and services provided to local communities by the FVRL Library District.

Tickets to Shorty’s Oktoberfest can be purchased by the general public; however, Oktoberfest attendees must be 21 years of age or older. Advance tickets are $20 each and can be purchased at either Shorty’s Garden & Home location. Tickets can also be purchased online here. Tickets purchased at the event will be $25. All tickets include admission to the Oktoberfest celebration and one beverage token.

Shorty’s Oktoberfest will feature Samuel Adams OctoberFest Beer. German-style food will also be available for purchase at the event from Beaches Catering. Shorty’s Oktoberfest is sponsored by a number of local businesses including: The Columbian, Samuel Adams OctoberFest Beer, Stein Distributing, Corwin Beverage, Clark Public Utilities, Schultz-Clearwater Sanitation, The Party Place, and Waste Connections.
