The third annual Jordan Crouch Memorial 5K Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, July 14. The race begins and ends at Marine Park on Vancouver’s waterfront. Participants will receive goodie bags, snacks, beverages, and t-shirts. An official timer and photographers will document the event. All proceeds will go to the scholarship endowment established in Jordan’s memory at Seattle Pacific University.
Crouch graduated from Skyview High School and Seattle Pacific University. His aspiration to establish a foundation to help students who need financial assistance was cut short when he passed away two years ago. The Jordan L. Crouch Scholarship Endowment was established to carry on what he started.
Online registration is available here. The cost for those who register by July 4 is $25. Registration after July 4 is an additional $10. Race day registration is $40. Check-in and registration begin at 8 a.m., and the race begins at 9 a.m. The race includes awards and medals, door prizes, and refreshments.
