Wine dinner at Roots Restaurant with Confluence Vineyards & Winery May 1

Roots Restaurant and Bar will host a wine dinner with Confluence Vineyards & Winery this Thursday, May 1, at 6 p.m. The event is $85 per person and reservations can be made by calling 360-260-3001 or online at http://www.opentable.com/roots-restaurant-and-bar. The five course dinnder includes:
- Country pate with pickled strawberries, rhubarb compote and oatmeal crackers – Red Blend
- Spring run Chinook Salmon with drunken lentils and green garlic puree – Merlot
- Seared scallops with macadamia nut butter and cabernet reduction – Cabernet
- Steak au poivre with spring pea and potato hash – Syrah
- Rhubarb crisp with strawberry ice cream
