Mark Ross has been selected as new BGPS assistant superintendent
Posted May 30, 2014Battle Ground Public Schools‘ Interim Superintendent Duane Rose, and incoming Superintendent Mark Hottowe, have recommended Mark Ross as the New Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning. This is a top-level position in the district office and oversees the coordination of curriculum and staff development, as well as federal and state programs. Ross is currently serving as principal of Heritage High School in Evergreen School District. In addition, he has served as Executive Director for Secondary Learning at Evergreen School District and Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning at Washougal School District. Upon board approval, Ross will transition to the new position July 1.
