Manufacturers invited to tour new training program June 7, RSVP by today

20111129_6106 Starting this fall, manufacturers will have a new resource to grow and improve the skills of their technicians, the Rural Access Mechatronics Program (RAMP) which will train technicians in as little as six months. The program will be introduced during a Wednesday, June 7 breakfast meeting and tour from 8 to 10 a.m., at Clark College’s Columbia Tech Center campus. Space is limited and reservations are required by today, Monday, June 5, to ghoward@clark.edu. The event is sponsored by Workforce Southwest Washington, Columbia River Economic Development Council, Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, Clark College, Clark College’s Economic & Community Development Department and WorkSource.
