First Friday in downtown Camas: “Thankful for Pie” Nov. 4

The November First Friday in downtown Camas is a celebration of a favorite dessert with a variety of activities to create a small town, family-friendly, fall feel. Visitors this Friday, Nov. 4, will enjoy holiday shopping, fall dining options, art shows, pie, and more. Activities include:

    • Pie tastings in participating businesses–vote for a favorite pie and be entered to win prizes from the merchants
    • Pie walks and Pie raffle
    • Kids’ autumn crafts and painting with The Paint Roller
    • Gratitude Wreath – Pick up paper leaves in participating locations, write one thing you are thankful for on each leaf, and add the leaves to the Community Gratitude Wreath. Each leaf earns a ticket to win prizes
    • 4Ever Growing Kids will be giving away free hats to the first 100 kids in honor of its third anniversary
    • Art shows at Camas GallerySecond Story Gallery and Attic Gallery,
    • Roasting marshmallows for s’mores will be at fourth and Birch streets, weather permitting

Holiday shopping will be gearing up in a big way and all the restaurants will have warm, comforting fall food options. Participation and activity lists for the evening will be available at the Downtown Camas Association‘s table in Journey Church starting at 5 p.m.
