First Friday Art Walk in downtown Vancouver Mar. 4

Its First Friday Art Walk in Vancouver is this Friday, Mar. 4. Many of downtown’s art galleries, shops, restaurants, coffee shops, wine bars and boutiques will be open from 5 to 9 p.m., many offering new merchandise, discount and sales, samples, appetizers, live music, and more. The Vancouver’s Downtown Association prepares a monthly Hotsheet with a walking map and a list of participating galleries, restaurants, and merchants. A few highlights for March include:

  • Gallery 360, 605 Esther St.: Artwork by John Turley and live music by jazz pianist Peter Boesen
  • Boomerang, 808 Main St.: Nine large format oil paintings by Portland artist Christopher B. Mooney
  • Luepke Flowers and Finds, 1300 Washington St.: Appetizers and the works of local artist is Maureen Montague
  • North Bank Artists Gallery, 1005 Main St.: New works by North Bank Artist members Chrissie Forbes and Reid Trevarthen.
