Film screening and discussion of “I’m Not a Racist, Am I?” at WSU Vancouver Feb. 9
Posted January 31, 2017As part of its celebration of Black History Month, Washington State University Vancouver will present a film screening and workshop at 5 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 9, at Firstenburg Student Commons. The event is free and open to the public. Director Catherine Wigginton Greene will be on hand for a screening of her documentary film I’m Not Racist…Am I? The film documents a year-long series of conversations among a group of teenagers in New York City, who talk about race, privilege and strategies for confronting structural, systemic racism. A workshop led by Wigginton Greene will follow, and food will be available. To learn more, click on the ad in the right column.
