Clark County Arts Commission presents Lifetime Achievement Award tomorrow
Posted September 30, 2013The Clark County Arts Commission will present its first Lifetime Achievement Award in the Arts at the Public Service Building, Suite 680, at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1. The event is free and open to the public.
Donna Roberge, Arts Chair and Steve Stuart, Chair of Clark County Commissioners will present the award to Austin Barton, bronze sculptor, who resides in Battleground. The Clark County Arts Commission promotes awareness and support of the arts as a vital part of the community and local economy by creating a more visually pleasing environment, while also expanding the opportunity and accessibility of citizens to experience art in public spaces.
