CCHM seeks volunteers for 10th annual “Harvest Fun Day”
Posted August 30, 2013The Clark County Historical Museum is looking for volunteers to help out at the 10th annual “Harvest Fun Day,” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 28, at the 78th Street Heritage Farm, 1919 NE 78 Street, in Hazel Dell. The expected attendance is over 3,000. Volunteers can help families make scarecrows and paint pumpkins; volunteers are also needed to facilitate the pie-eating and corn-shucking contests, paint kids’ faces with simple designs, and for miscellaneous labor. Volunteers can work from either 9 a.m., to 12:30 p.m., or from noon to 3:30 p.m. Interested parties can contact Karen at 360-993-5679 or info@cchmuseum.org.
