Vancouver honors veterans of all branches of service with this annual parade, which begins at the east end of Officers Row at E Reserve St., goes around the national site, and ends past the Pearson Air Museum. Attendees are welcome to watch the parade from the sidewalks and grass areas all along the parade route. The parade attracts more than 120 entries with approximately 2,500 individuals marching or riding in the parade.

Last spring following a comprehensive communications audit that included perspectives of current and former students, and staff, as well as community and business partners, it was decided that the “Clark County Skills Center” would become Cascadia Technical Academy. The consensus was that even though the Skills Center name had worked well for the past three-plus decades, it was important to find a name that better reflected the technological pathways for the next thirty plus years. Cascadia Tech is owned and operated by nine local school districts and Educational Service District 112. Junior and senior students enrolled in member high schools are eligible to apply for admittance into a Cascadia Tech Academy program free of charge through their high school counselor.
