Woods Creek Culvert replacement to close Forest Road 25 Sept. 5-15Posted August 3rd, 2012
The culvert where Woods Creek passes under Forest Road 25 at milepost 3.9 is scheduled for replacement, temporarily closing this popular Gifford Pinchot National Forest road to through-traffic Wednesday, Sept. 5, through Saturday, Sept. 15. The closure will occur at the extreme north end of FR 25, approximately 4.5 miles south of Randle, Washington. This project is designed to restore fish passage in this tributary to the Cispus River. The project will bring this stream crossing into compliance with state and Forest Service standards. Updated information on the status of FR 25 during this project, along with other roads and trails information, can be found here.
