The 15th Anniversary Vancouver Wine & Jazz Festival is set for Thursday, Aug. 23, through Sunday, Aug. 26. This year’s concert lineup—one of the best in the festival’s history— features internationally acclaimed Grammy-winning jazz, blues, and Latin musicians and a number of iconic artists. The slate of musicians includes Jose Feliciano, WAR,The Rippingtons, The Yellowjackets, Brubeck Brothers Jazz Quartet, Lavay Smith & Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers, Marcia Ball, and Diane Schuur. The festival is the largest event of its kind in the Northwest and draws up to 15,000 visitors from 19 states and Canada.
The festival also features over 200 wines from around the world. Attendees can sample wines with a one-ounce taste or purchase a glass to sip while enjoying food from nine local restaurants. Art and craft lovers can shop from the 40 fine artists who travel from California, Montana, Washington, and Oregon. The festival will also feature four Washington high school jazz bands on its first family-friendly “Jazz Education Night,” from 6 to 9 p.m. on Aug. 23, with free admission and no wine or beer.
General admission tickets are $25 at the gate. A three-day discount pass can be purchased in advance for $60, and discount single tickets are also available in advance.
