“Treat Day” at Cedar Creek Grist Mill tomorrowPosted June 29th, 2012
This Saturday, June 30, is “Treat Day” from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Cedar Creek Grist Mill, located east of Woodland at 43815 N.E. Grist Mill Rd. Guests will enjoy homemade cookies, cakes, scones, and muffins baked with flour from the mill. Coffee and milk will also be served, and recipes will be available to take home. The Cedar Creek Grist Mill, built in 1876 and accessible via a landmark covered bridge, is a working museum staffed by volunteers. It is the only grain-grinding mill in Washington that has maintained its original structural integrity, grinds with stones, and is water-powered.
