Every city tells a story. Whether that story helps or hinders the vitality of the city depends on how that story is managed. Vancouver’s Downtown Association (VDA) wants to better understand Vancouver’s story, in the minds of visitors, residents, and business owners. VDA is presently working with Civilis Consultants to shape downtown’s message by building its “civic identity,” a narrative thread that can be woven into marketing and promotional materials, business recruitment efforts, event planning, long-range planning, downtown revitalization, and relationship-building between stakeholder groups. VDA encourages the Daily Insider‘s readers to share their opinions by taking this online survey. It is entirely anonymous and completely confidential. Recommendations will be drawn directly from this feedback and will be presented on July 12.
