“Still” at Clark College’s Archer Gallery features still lifes by local artists

“Still,” a group exhibit running from Tuesday, Oct. 2, through Sunday, Oct. 28, at Clark College‘s Archer Gallery, features a collection of still life paintings, photographs, and mixed-media pieces by world-class artists Eric Elliott, James Florschutz, Marie Koetje, Caroline LeFevre, Erika Leppmann, Joseph Park (whose work can be seen above), and Susan Seubert. The exhibit explores the role and function of the still life in the twenty-first century.

A reception, open to the public, will be held at the gallery from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6. The Archer Gallery is located on Clark’s main campus at 1933 Fort Vancouver Way in Vancouver.
