Staff changes, new hires at Gifford Pinchot
Gifford Pinchot National Forest announced yesterday that its natural resource staff officer, public services staff officer, and acting Cowlitz Valley district ranger positions are now filled. The current Cowlitz district ranger, Kristie Miller, is moving to the Deschutes National Forest to take the reins of the Sisters ranger district. Mosé Jones-Yellin will take her place. He will be on detail from his job as deputy district ranger on the High Sierra ranger district of the Sierra National Forest. Dave Olson was named natural resources staff officer, and Tom Snoberger is acting recreation, engineering, heritage, lands and minerals staff officer. Snoberger has accepted a one-year detail into the public services staff officer position. He is the regional facilities engineer for Pacific Northwest region of the Forest Service.
