SR 14 girder setting closes Second Street July 30 and 31Posted July 30th, 2012
Drivers in Washougal will encounter full nighttime closures of Second St., on Monday, July 30 and Tuesday, July 31, while crews set bridge girders in place on State Route 14. Second St. will be closed between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. each night. Union and Sixth Streets will remain open. The interchange eliminates two signals on SR 14, making the highway free-flowing from Interstate 5 to 15th Street in Washougal. These improvements are part of the $49 million SR 14, Camas-Washougal Widening and Interchange project. Construction started in June 2011 and is expected to be complete late this year or early next year.
