Southwest Washington’s first outdoor beer festival June 16 at Turtle PlacePosted June 13, 2012
Southwest Washington’s first outdoor beer festival, “Who’s Your Daddy?” will take place from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, at Turtle Place on Seventh and Main Streets in downtown Vancouver. The event is actually in its third year as a fundraiser for CDM Long-Term Care Services, a nonprofit agency providing in-home care and adult day services since 1978. For the first two years, the event was held at the award-winning By the Bottle retail beer shop, just west of Main St. on Evergreen. However, the crowds of beer lovers suggested that another venue might allow for even more beer-sampling fun.
This historic event is presented by Riverview Bank and hosted by the New Phoenix and Last Frontier Casinos. Thirteen other generous sponsors are also providing support. Featured Washington State breweries include Boundary Bay, Iron Horse, Walking Man, Silver City, Salmon Creek, Naked City, Mt. Tabor, Port Townsend, Maritime Pacific, and more. Admission is $15, and includes six tokens and a commemorative glass. For tickets, visit www.cdmltc.org and click the “Who’s Your Daddy” logo, or call CDM Services at 360-896-9695.
