Salmon Creek Cares annual benefit for cancer services at Legacy Salmon Creek Nov. 16

Salmon Creek Hospital Foundation will host the Salmon Creek Cares Luncheon, presented by Columbia Credit Union, on Thursday, Nov. 16, at the Vancouver Hilton. The theme is: Celebrating Women, Inspiring Hope Now.

Funds raised will go toward cancer services, to provide seamless, high-quality cancer care for the community including new medical equipment, research and patient care support. Legacy Salmon Creek provides access to world-class treatment close to home for women’s cancers, including chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery for breast and gynecological cancers.

A panel of speakers consisting of two breast surgeons:  Dr. Nathalie Johnson and Dr. Cory Donovan, and two gynecology oncologists: Dr. Gina Westhoff and Dr. Colleen McCormick, will be moderated by Kelly Love, public and community relations consultant at Legacy Salmon Creek, and will share the latest research and medical care for women’s cancers.

Tickets are $50 per person and may be purchased online at legacyhealthgiving.org/salmoncreekcares or contacting Shirley Gross at 360-487-3457, skgross@lhs.org. There is still room for sponsored tables as well.
