Sakura Festival at Clark College Apr. 18Posted April 5th, 2013
To celebrate the breathtaking cherry blossoms that bloom in the spring and honor Vancouver’s sister-city relationship with Joyo, Japan, Clark College will hold its annual Sakura Festival Thursday, Apr. 18, from 1 to 4 p.m on the main campus, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way. The event will be presented by Robert K. Knight, Vancouver Rotarians and the City of Vancouver. The festivities begin at 1 p.m. under the college’s cherry trees on the east side of the O’Connell Gym, and there will be activities, demonstrations and refreshments in the Gaiser Student center from 2 to 4 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
