Riverview names Don Houston as investment executive

Riverview Community Bank and Riverview Asset Management Corp. have announced the appointment of Don Houston as investment executive for Riverview Investment Services. Houston brings an extensive financial advisory background and will be based in the Riverview Tower in downtown Vancouver. He will focus on the investment and insurance needs of Riverview’s small business and personal banking clients.

“Don brings a strong ethic in advocating for his clients as they plan for their future and manage their assets.” says John Karas, president and chief executive officer of Riverview Asset Management. Houston attended Clark College and Portland State University and served in the United States Marine Corps. He also serves as director for RiteCare of Washington, a Vancouver-based children’s speech therapy clinic, and as president on the Scottish Rite Charities Board.
