President Robert K. Knight will deliver Clark’s State of the College address Jan. 17

Clark College President Robert K. Knight will deliver the 2013 State of the College address on Thursday, Jan. 17, at 11 a.m., in the Gaiser Student Center on the college’s main campus. The event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m., and seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Clark College is located at 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver.

Knight is expected to cover topics regarding the future of the college  and how the college plans to help serve the region. Following the address, guests will be invited to join Knight on a visit to Clark’s new basic education site, located in the “T” Building on the west side of Fort Vancouver Way.

Students, faculty, staff, and guests are invited to bring nonperishable food donations to the address. Food will be collected for the Share Backpack Program. Donations can also be taken to the college’s Welcome Center from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 17, and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 18.
