The public is invited to the next installment of the Port Lecture Series on Thursday, April 27. The CEO’s of Clark County’s three public ports will share what is unique about their operations and how their ports help bring jobs and economic prosperity to the region.

They will also provide updates on interesting projects, including the Washougal Waterfront Vison and Master Plan; the Port of Ridgefield’s Discovery Corridor and development of dark fiber infrastructure; and the Port of Vancouver’s Terminal 1 waterfront redevelopment.

Attendees will hear how the three local ports partner together and take a regional approach to marketing and outreach to the legislature. The lecture is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Terminal 1 large conference room, 100 Columbia St. (former Red Lion Hotel).

The next lecture in the series, “Marine Operations 101 – Meet ILWU Local #4,” is slated for Tuesday, May 2. Space at each lecture is limited, and pre-registration is required.
