Padden Parkway closed for repairs Aug. 23-28Posted August 14th, 2012
Clark County Public Works will close a portion of Padden Parkway in both directions next week so a private contractor can repave 1.7 miles safely and quickly. The closure is scheduled from 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, until 6 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28. Knife River Corp. plans to run 24-hour shifts to complete the work from N.E. 94th Ave. east to N.E. 117th Ave./State Route 503, weather permitting. More than 8,600 tons of hot mix asphalt will be used to reinforce the existing pavement. The project also will include building drainage improvements. The project will have signs and detours to guide motorists. Additional information will be widely available before work begins.
