The Washington State Opportunity Scholarship program is now accepting applications and will award 3,000 scholarships for $1,000 per year, renewable for up to five years. Apply online here. The deadline to apply is Monday, April 16. Opportunity Scholarships help low- and middle-income Washington residents earn first bachelor’s degrees in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and healthcare. High school seniors through college seniors who plan to attend Washington colleges and universities are eligible to apply. Applicants must be state residents, have a 2.75 GPA or higher, and have completed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). To learn more about income requirements, click here.
