North County Food Bank kicks off holiday collection drives

Activities at the North County Community Food Bank are in full swing getting all of the pieces in place for the upcoming annual Christmas Gift Adoptions for Children & Seniors in addition to the annual Christmas Food Box Distribution Program.

North County Community Food Bank works closely with area churches, service organizations, clubs, businesses, private individuals, and all those interested in making Christmas magic for many of our North Clark County residents living in poverty, providing just a little holiday spirit to their lives.  All gifts are to be under $20. Those interested in joining Santa’s elves this year, contact the food bank at 360-687-5007, or by email at executive.director@nccfoodbank.org.

If your business, club or organization would like to adopt a senior, child, or family, as well as any of those interested in contributing to assist with this privately funded program, contact Elizabeth Cerveny, at 360-687-5007, or executive.director@nccfoodbank.org. The Christmas Food Box distribution takes place Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Battle Ground Community Center from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Donated toys are distributed by the Battle Ground Kiwanis in their facility at Kiwanis Park.
