No-cost training available for tech and manufacturing jobs Dec. 15

An information fair about free training programs to help unemployed or underemployed individuals get jobs in technology or manufacturing will be held at WorkSource next week. Job seekers will have an opportunity to hear from employers about the skills and training they’re seeking in new employees. Representatives from education and training organizations, including Clark College, New Horizons, Charter College, Tech Academy, Soldering.biz and more, will be on site. Attendees can also learn about no-cost training programs, scholarships, and free job and employment services offered at WorkSource. The event is Thursday, Dec. 15, from 1 to 4 p.m. at WorkSource, 204 SE Stonemill Dr. Job seekers should bring copies of their resume and dress in business casual.
