Reprise, a focused, creative and collegial choir made up of high caliber musicians, will present debut concerts at the end of March. The group was formed by Janet Reiter and April Duvic, who are both well-known in the Vancouver artistic community. From 2007-2013 they worked together as co-directors of the Clark College Chorale.

The concert, “Unforgettable,” includes jazz pieces including, Pure Imagination, Hallelujah, and Unforgettable, Renaissance Romantic Period classics, as well as Lullaby by Daniel Elder, In Remembrance by David N. Childs, and Tyger, Tyger by Reginald Unterseher. The program is rounded out with works by contemporary choral composers and the rousing gospel piece, I Sing Because I’m Happy.

The concerts are 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Mar. 25, at Faith Baptist Church in Hazel Dell; and 4 p.m., Sunday, Mar. 26, at St. John Presbyterian Church in Camas. Admission is free, but donations will be warmly received at the door. For more information, email reprisechoirsings@gmail.com.
