“Music on the Mountain” at Mt. St. Helens Johnston Ridge ObservatoryPosted July 26, 2012
On Saturday, Aug. 4, the Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument, Cowlitz County Economic Development Council, and Mount St. Helens Institute are hosting the second concert in the Music on the Mountain series. Concertgoers can enjoy a spectacular crater view while they listen to live music outside at the Johnston Ridge Observatory Amphitheater. Portland’s own Robbie Laws Band will perform award-winning blues. Admission to the concert is free. Music begins at 6:30 p.m. Food will be available for purchase in the Johnston Ridge Observatory parking lot. In the event of rain, the concert will move indoors to the Johnston Ridge Observatory Theater. The third event is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1.
