Liz Pike’s campaign kick-off event May 10

The campaign team for Liz Pike has announced an official kick-off event set for 8 a.m. on Thursday, May 10, at Club Green Meadows, 7703 N.E. 72nd Ave., Vancouver. Clark County Auditor Greg Kimsey will emcee the “Farmer Breakfast” event. Liz is a candidate for the18th Legislative District, Position 2, seat being vacated by Rep. Ed Orcutt who has announced his bid to run in the 20th District. Program highlights include an opening prayer by Ridgefield entrepreneur Garret Hergert, owner of G2 Outdoor Living, and the presentation of colors and a rifle drill performed by the Prairie High School Air Force Junior ROTC. Battle Ground Mayor Lisa Walters will lead the American flag salute and 17th District Rep. Paul Harris will deliver the keynote address. Admission price is $35 for a delicious “farmer” breakfast.
