Identity Clark County, (ICC) a non-profit business advocacy group, has appointed area businessman and former elected official John McKibbin as president of the organization. McKibbin is a real estate investor and active community citizen who served as founding chair of ICC more than 20 years ago.

“We are pleased to engage a non-partisan leader with the depth of experience and track record to focus the business community on a few key initiatives that will help stimulate our region’s growth and development,” says Scott Milam, board chair of ICC and chief operating officer of startup business: On the Go Platforms.

McKibbin served three terms as a Clark County Commissioner and two in the Washington state House of Representatives. He was President and CEO of the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, operated a government relations consultancy, and began his career as a teacher in the Vancouver School District. He serves on the Salmon Creek Legacy Hospital Foundation Board, and is heavily involved with Pearson Field Education Center. For more information about ICC, visit www.identityclarkcounty.org.
