Housing and Homelessness Advocacy 101 Jan. 23

Council for the Homeless, REACH Community Development, and Washington Low Income Housing Alliance invite the public to learn about housing and homelessness advocacy priorities for the 2018 legislative session and how to communicate in person, by phone, or in writing with elected officials.

Attendees will learn about the issues and legislation action in Olympia this session, how to talk with legislators and their staff about issues, and how to participate in Housing and Homelessness Advocacy Day on February 1.

Housing and Homeless Advocacy 101 Training is Tuesday, Jan. 23, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., in the Community Room at the Vancouver Housing Authority, 2500 Main St., in Vancouver.
