Hazel Dell Lions’ Club seeks stories of people who have been helped by the LionsPosted July 16, 2012
Roxie Olsen, president of the Hazel Dell Lions’ Club, is seeking stories of people who have been helped by the Lions. Hazel Dell Lions have assisted people with free eye glasses, hearing aids, food baskets, wheel chair ramps, diabetes camp fees, college scholarships, and more over the past half-century. As the service club nears its 50th anniversary in 2013, it is hoping to collect stories about how Lions’ Club members have made a difference in the lives of community members. Those who share may remain anonymous or they can speak at club meetings about their experiences. Respondents should send their stories via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, call Olsen at 360-258-8819, or send stories to P.O. Box 65385, Vancouver WA 98665.
