Hazel Dell Elementary kids wrap peanut butter for ChristmasPosted December 13th, 2013
Youth With Purpose, a group of third, fourth and fifth graders at Hazel Dell Elementary, has gathered over 100 jars of peanut butter to give to hungry kids in Clark County. And today, Friday, Dec. 13, they’re wrapping those jars with joy, optimism and inspiration.
Youth With Purpose collected the jars for The Joy Team‘s PB & Joy Project and using the PB & Joy Project labels, they’ll wrap them with inspiring messages before giving them to The Joy Team. The jars from Youth With Purpose will be added to others The Joy Team has collected for the Backpack Program run by Share Vancouver for kids living in food insecurity in Clark County.
