Furry Friends adds one to executive board

William MillerFurry Friends, an all-volunteer, no-kill cat shelter, has announced that William Miller will be its new volunteer treasurer. As treasurer he will also be a member of the executive board, which is a team of seven that oversees the operations of Furry Friends. The post has been vacant for about a year. He holds a master’s in Accounting and Financial Management and has extensive financial experience. Miller currently works for Urban NW Homes/Front Door Realty as a land acquisition manager and real estate consultant. He also is a member of Toastmasters and has done much volunteer service including work with East County Fire & Rescue as a former volunteer assisting firefighters.
