The public is invited to attend the the third lecture in a series presented by the Northwest Cultural Resources Insitute (NCRI) at 7 p.m. this Thursday, July 12, at Fort Vancouver, 1501 E. Evergreen Blvd. Jacqueline Cheung and Eric Gleason will speak on Captain Jack’s Stronghold, which is located in the Lava Beds National Monument. Lectures in the series address topics of the colonial past, including warfare, slavery, shipwrecks, and food traditions.
