Fruit tree pruning workshop Feb. 7

The WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardener program is partnering with Monica Maggio of Core Home Fruit on Saturday, Feb. 7, to offer a fruit tree pruning workshop for community members who have or who are considering getting fruit trees. The workshop is from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It starts with a classroom presentation at the Luke Jensen Sports Complex community room. After a brown bag lunch break, the class will move to the 78th Street Heritage Farm orchard for a hands-on winter pruning lesson in the afternoon. The cost of the workshop is $45 and registration is required at http://bpt.me/866192. Bring a brown bag lunch. Coffee and tea will be provided. Dress for weather and uneven, wet ground.
