Food System Council seeks members to promote local food

The Clark County Food System Council is seeking new members interested in promoting a sustainable community food system. Members represent sectors of the food system, including public health, nutrition, education, food security, waste management, resource conservation, agriculture, food distribution and community leadership. Council members must live or work in Clark County. Members are asked to commit to a two-year term, regularly attend monthly meetings and participate in council subcommittees.
