Evergreen Habitat for Humanity groundbreaking ceremonies this SundayPosted July 13, 2012
The public is invited to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for two more Evergreen Habitat for Humanity homes at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 15. A family introduction will be followed by refreshments. The groundbreaking will be held at 4901 N.E. 19th Ave. in Vancouver, where Christy Adams and her two children will reside. The Adams family home is made possible through a partnership with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. A groundbreaking ceremony will be held at the same time in the neighboring lot, 1916 N.E. 49th St., which is the home site of Kathy Murphy and her four children. The Murphy home is funded by a sponsorship from Wells Fargo. The Adams and Murphy homes will mark the 25th and 26th homes to be built by Evergreen Habitat since 1991.
