Curtis Salgado at the next Sunday Sounds concert Aug. 13

The Columbia Tech Center and the City of Vancouver continue their free Sunday Sounds concert series this Sunday, Aug. 13, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Columbia Tech Center Park in east Vancouver.

With a career spanning forty years, award-winning soul, blues and R&B vocalist/harmonicist/songwriter Curtis Salgado is a one-of-a-kind talent. From co-fronting The Robert Cray Band to leading his own band (and recording nine solo albums) to helping transform John Belushi into “Joliet” Jake Blues to touring the country with Steve Miller and Santana, he is a true musical giant.

Food vendors will be on site with a wide selection of meals, snacks and beverages. Blankets and sand chairs are recommended. Barbeques, smoking and alcohol are prohibited, except in designated areas. Dogs on a leash are welcome. Columbia Tech Center Park is located at SE Sequoia Circle at SE Tech Center Dr.
