Council for the Homeless hosts “Hope & Action” Recognition Luncheon on Sept. 21
The Council for the Homeless has announced it 2012 Recognition Awards recognizing eight Clark County citizens for their work to end homelessness. To honor them, the Council for the Homeless will hosts its 13th Annual “Hope & Action” Recognition Luncheon on Friday, Sept. 21, at the Hilton Vancouver. Doors open for check in at 11:30am. The luncheon and awards program is from noon to 1:30 p.m. The awardees are Judy Enders, David Slocum, CarolLee Cotter, Sheree Thun, Kate Budd, Amy Reynolds, and Pete Munroe. HopeLift will also be given an award for community support. The keynote presenter is Barbe West, executive director of the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington. Individual tickets for the luncheon are $40, or $375 for a table of 10. Reservations are required. Purchase tickets online at www.icfth.com.
