Columbia Springs annual fundraiser August 5

Columbia Springs will host six chefs for a salmon competition at Hooked on Nature, its annual fundraiser, on Saturday, Aug. 5. Attendees can expect silent and live auctions, raffles, dinner and dessert, local beer and wine, and live music.

Featured Chefs include: Chef Jeremy McLachlan, corporate chef, Salty’s; Chef Earl Frederick, instructor, McClaskey Culinary Institute at Clark College; Chef Aaron Guerra, instructor, McClaskey Cuilinary Institute at Clark College; Chef Tamara Leibarth, owner, Simply Thyme Catering; Chef Andrew McColley, instructor, Cascadia Tech Academy Culinary Program; Chef Don Robayo, executive chef, 3 Sheets at the Harbor.

The event will take place at the Vancouver Water Resources Education Center, 4600 SE Columbia Way.
