CALEA accreditation team invites public comment June 13

Clark County Sheriff Chuck E. Atkins has announced that a team of assessors from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA) will arrive on Sunday, June 11. CALEA will examine all aspects of the Clark County Sheriff’s Office policies and procedures, management, operations and support services.

Verification by the team that the Clark County Sheriff’s Office meets the Commission’s state-of-the-art standards is part of a voluntary process to gain accreditation for a 31st consecutive year–a highly prized recognition of public safety professional excellence.
