Arts and Culture Summit Sept. 23

The second Arts and Culture summit will be held Saturday, Sept. 23, at the Artillery Barracks building at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Reserve. Anyone interested in the future of the arts in the community is invited to attend.

This will be an all-day gathering of arts organizations, business leaders, local representatives, and individuals who want to see the arts thrive north of the Columbia River. Activities include fast-paced presentations, panel discussions, afternoon workshops and more.

The focus will be on generating the ideas and momentum to create much-needed venues and spaces for arts and culture activities. Particular attention will be given to buildings and infrastructure because of the number of development projects imminent or underway which may include arts and culture components.

Registration is $35 per person. The summit agenda, a complete list of speakers and panelists, and registration information can be found at artsofclarkcounty.org.
