Miller Nash expands business and tax team in Vancouver
Monday, December 5th, 2011Miller Nash LLP has expanded the business and tax team in its Vancouver office, utilizing the experience of Dustin Klinger, Ryan Nisle, and Meghan Williams.
Klinger focuses on business formation and transactions with extensive experience in real estate-related acquisitions, sales, property management, leasing, and secured financing. He is a frequent contributor to the firm’s real estate development blog, From the Ground Up.
Nisle is a partner in the tax group and focuses his practice primarily on business transactions and tax law, with an emphasis on partnership and corporate tax, state and local taxation, international taxation, executive compensation, and tax incentives related to energy and affordable housing. Nisle is a longtime Vancouver resident and splits time between the firm’s Vancouver and Portland offices, servicing clients on both sides of the state line.
Williams focuses her practice in general business and corporate law, with a particular emphasis on formation, mergers and acquisitions, governance and other general business transactions.

Rep. Ann Rivers to hold telephone town hall meeting on Dec. 7
Monday, December 5th, 2011Reps. Ed Orcutt and Ann Rivers invite their 18th District constituents to participate in a telephone town hall meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 7. The event, with a format similar to a call-in radio show, will begin at 6:25 p.m. and run for one hour. Participants may call 1-877-229-8493 and enter 15498 to join in. “This is an opportunity for everyone to come together to discuss the economy, budget and other issues impacting our communities. A Thief at Heart plays at Pop Culture Dec. 8
Monday, December 5th, 2011A Thief at Heart, the self-styled rock-and-soul band, has played 18 shows in seven Northwest cities, and this week it will perform at downtown Vancouver’s Pop Culture, 1929 Main St., on Thursday, Dec. 8. The show starts at 7:30 p.m., and there is a cover charge of $7. Signed editions of the band’s EP will be available for $5.
