Jane Lee receives Marshall
Youth Leadership
Lee will receive a $1,000 scholarship and a $500 summer internship with the Vancouver National Historic Reserve Trust. The formal award presentation will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, in the Marshall House on Officers Row. Lee also earned the 2007 YWCA Community Service Award. She is president of the Red Cross Club at Mountain View High School and is a member of the Clark County Youth Commission. Also nominated for the award were the following: Samuel Baciuc, Bridget McNutt and Melanie Palmer, Evergreen High School, Brooke Bekkedahl and Evelyn Harper, Columbia River High School, Derek Burton, Jonathan Groat, Megan Karas, Amanda Mayoral and Samantha Peraza, Ridgefield High School, Julianne Chapman, Skyview High School, Joe Clark and Hailey Mark, Hudson’s Bay High School, Justine Domingueze, Woodland High School, Deborah Ecaruan and Jennifer Pesut, Mountain View High School, Kathryn Gaffney, Ashley Mare Grant and Colleen Kimsey, Vancouver School of Arts & Academics, Krista Greer, Washougal High School, Erin Tayor, Camas High School, and Kelsey Wells, Heritage High School.
