Tina Clark has been promoted to the newly created position of general manager for the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, chamber president John McKibbin announced today. Clark joined the chamber two years ago in the member services department. Prior to that she had been in sales, marketing and management at Cascade Inn. Clark is a member of the marketing committee for the Vancouver-Clark Parks & Recreation Foundation. Clark, her husband, Sean, and their two children live in east Vancouver. The new position was created to provide further improvements in operations and member services, according to McKibbin. The dance, from 7 to 11 p.m., will be in the museum at 1115 E. 5th Street in the Historic Reserve. “The competitors are now immersed in dance lessons provided by presenting sponsor, Arthur Murray Dance Studios, which will also offer free dance lessons in the museum beginning at 6 p.m. “Everyone attending is eligible to cast votes at a dollar each. Local artists
display their work in The Annual Clark County Parade of Homes begins its 17-day run Friday, July 14, and continues through Sunday, July 30, at Allegro Ridge, Washougal. Featured are eight homes ranging from 2,770 to 5,200 square feet in size. The homes, of course, are for sale, but so, too, is the displayed art work. For the first time the Southwest Washington Center for the Arts is participating in the Parade of Homes by bringing the work of local artists into the homes. In addition to fused glass, watercolors, oils, acrylics, photography, pottery, sculpture and tile, the arts center is providing performing artists who will offer concerts and other forms of entertainment during the show. Participating home builders are as follows: Fantasy Homes by Vladimir, Fazzolare Custom Homes, GML HomeBuilders, Harbour Bay Homes, Ken Winkleman General Contractor, North Pacific Homes, Omega Custom Homes and Philip Custom Homes. Show hours are 10 a.m. through 9 p.m. each day. Admission is $12 for adults; $6 for children between 6 and 12. Seniors, 55 and up, will be admitted for $6 on Tuesdays.
